Forklift Training Course Overview
All Training and Certification complies with the recommendations of the Health & Safety Commission Approved Code of Practice and supplementary guidance for
Rider Operated Lift Trucks - Operator Training (L117 & HASAWA74)
The maximum number of operators BB Training Services can train on any course is 3 as set out by RTITB & ITSSAR.
1 Day Refresher Course - for experienced operators who have a certificate.
3 Day Course - for operators with experience of the truck but no certificate.
3-5 Day Course - for up to 3 novice operators.(driving licence not required).
We can also carry out Conversion Courses from one type of truck to another.
The category of truck determines the number of day(s) required for conversion.
On successful completion of our forklift training course the trainee will be able to:
1. Name all main component parts of a forklift truck & their function.
2. Carry out a Pre-operational safety check.
3. Stack and de-stack from various heights with various loads safely.
4. Operate a forklift truck in a narrow confined space without causing any damage to the forklift or surrounding area.
Each successful trainee is issued with a certificate of basic training to confirm they have been trained to RTITB and ITSSAR Standards.

Forklift Truck Attachment Training - We can deliver training for Barrel Clamps, Hook Attachments, Carpet Booms, Lifting Cage Attachments or any other device.
All our Instructors are accredited by the Road Transport Industry Training Board (RTITB) or the Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register (ITSSAR) who are recognised by the Health and Safety Commission and are listed in the Approved Code of Practice and Guidance for Rider-Operated Lift Trucks.
